According to baokiengiang online, on 25th July 2023, the Airbus A321, flight number VN 491 of Vietnam Airlines, carrying 100 Chinese tourists, landed at Phu Quoc International Airport, said Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Chairman of Phu Quoc City People’s Committee.
Chinese tourists will stay in Phu Quoc for 5 days, 4 nights, visit famous entertainment spots on the island such as VinWonders Theme Park, Vinpearl Safari, Grand World area, Phu Quoc night market, Hon Thom cable car (An Thoi Ward)...
According to Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, recently, there are 5 international flight routes to Phu Quoc, including Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China.
Phu Quoc City People’s Committee coordinates with Phu Quoc International Airport and other airports to provide a preferential promotion policy to attract more international visitors to Phu Quoc.

The Kien Giang Provincial Department of Tourism informed, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic (from 2020 to 2022), Kien Giang is estimated to welcome over 22,000 Chinese tourist arrivals. From the beginning of 2023 up to now, the number of Chinese tourists to Kien Giang has reached over 10,000 arrivals.
