(TITC) - On 12th July 2023, in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh Province), Quang Ninh Tourism Association (Vietnam) and Chungcheong Tourism Association (Korea) held a conference on solutions to attract tourists between the two sides.

At the conference, the two sides introduced the potential and strengths of Quang Ninh and Chungcheong tourism, new attractive destinations, typical products and services of each locality. At the same time, exchange and update information about tourism development policies, cooperation to attract international tourists, orientation to operate flights via Van Don International Airport to promote Korean tourist market, especially Chungcheong.
The two sides will continue to promote cooperation activities, linking tourism and service businesses towards improving service quality and diversifying guest markets.

At the conference, Quang Ninh Tourism Association (Vietnam) and Chungcheong Tourism Association (Korea) signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation in tourism development in the near future.
In the first 6 months of this year, Korea is the largest market sending visitors to Vietnam, accounting for 35% of the total number of international visitor arrivals. In Quang Ninh, Korean tourists are also recovering positively, accounting for the majority of the structure of international visitors in the first half of this year.
