(TITC) - On 4th July 2023, a caravan group consisting of 19 cars with 47 Thai nationals passed through Nam Giang International Border Gate (Quang Nam Province) to begin a long travel sightseeing tour in the Central Region of Vietnam.
According to Quang Nam online news, as per itinerary, after entering Nam Giang International Border Gate, the group moved to Hoi An City, then continued the Da Nang - Thua Thien Hue - Lao Bao international border gate (Quang Tri Province) route.
Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Indochina Unique Tourist Co.,Ltd - caravan organiser, said, on average, the company welcomes 1-2 tourist groups to Quang Nam every month in the form of transit through Nam Giang International Border Gate.
This type of caravan tourism is becoming a trend in the world. Quang Nam has the advantage of having Nam Giang International Border Gate, so it is easy to attract visitors from Northeast Thailand through Laos to this international border gate, stated Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy.
Previously, the Ministry of Transport has approved Indochina Unique Tourist Co.,Ltd to organise a caravan of 19 cars with 47 Thai nationals to join traffic in Vietnam from 4th July to 8th July with tourism purposes.
To ensure a safe and smooth route, the caravan is arranged with guiding car, especially complying with regulations on speed and distance between vehicles during the process of participating in traffic in Vietnam.
Caravan tourism is a form of travel by self-driving cars or personal vehicles in groups of 2 or more people by road, which can go through different territories and countries.
Caravan travel provides comfort and flexibility, helping visitors to test their driving skills and also have the freedom to explore and experience nature and culture in destinations on the journey.
