(TITC) - A road tourism route between the northeastern provinces of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam will be a new product, attracting tourists from all over the world.
The programme to learn and evaluate tourist destinations is carried out by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Travel businesses of Vietnam - Thailand had a 7-day journey to experience and discuss tourism products that link a 3-country itinerary in the near future. Vietnam - Thailand travel businesses have accompanied in learning and evaluating a number of key tourist destinations of the Mekong riverside region in order to link and build new tourism products.

According to the team, the landmarks in the journey to discover Vietnam - Laos - Thailand begin from the Central Vietnam through Savannakhet (Laos) to the northeastern provinces of Thailand. Some special features in the tourist route are spiritual tours to pagodas, the system of commercial centres, and beautiful check-in attractions, etc.

In the framework of the inspection, Vietnam - Thailand travel agencies had a meeting with representatives of TAT; provinces of La Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Sakon Nakhon; and the Vietnamese community in Thailand.
Mr. Tran Huu Phuoc, business representative of Quang Tri Province (Vietnam) said, currently, there are not yet direct flights connecting Vietnam and the northeastern provinces of Thailand, road is the only option to build a tour. And the caravan tour will be the right option for Vietnam - Thailand to develop in the present time. Yet, to facilitate the crossing of border gates, the authorities of the relevant provinces and cities need to create a suitable mechanism for tourism to develop.

The voiceover with Vietnamese and English at the destination, since the journey to Northeast Thailand is quite refreshing, is one of the essential requirements in the tours of 3 countries.
