Vietravel Airlines has recently expanded its international flight network by connecting Cam Ranh/ Da Nang with Macau, providing more flight options for passengers during the peak summer season of 2023.
On May 25th, Vietravel Airlines flight number VU1337 departed from Macau International Airport (MFM) at 13:40 (local time) and arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) at 14:55 (Vietnam time), welcoming the first group of Macau passengers to Vietnam to experience new tourism products after a period of travel restrictions between countries due to the complicated developments of the pandemic. This is also the next series of charter flights by Vietravel Airlines after the successful Cam Ranh - Daegu flight.
Vietravel Airlines and Cam Ranh International Airport representatives presented 220 passengers on the flight with gifts of coffee specialties, a familiar dish in the life of Vietnamese people and spread the pride that Vietnam ranks second in coffee production.
Vietravel Airlines is the first tourist airline with the mission of connecting Vietnam and the world. The airline has a meticulous preparation process to put into operation international routes, contributing to promoting domestic tourism. In addition to helping passengers have more options to fly at good prices and quality, increasing the frequency of flights will contribute to improving Vietnam’s air transport capacity. The airline is also working with functional agencies and partners in Northeast Asia countries to soon put into operation potential markets such as Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan.
According to the General Statistics Office, the first quarter of 2023 showed a strong recovery of the aviation and tourism market when there were more than 2,699,500 international visitors to Vietnam, of which visitors by air reached 2,423.9 times, accounting for 89.8% of international visitors and up 29.4% over the same period last year. These are positive indicators that provide a basis for Vietravel Airlines to expand its domestic and international market operations.
Vietravel Airlines will put into operation charter flights on Cam Ranh/Da Nang - Macau route with daily frequency from May 25th, 2023. These are two large coastal tourist cities of Vietnam that many international tourists choose to visit. In parallel with the plan to expand its international route network, Vietravel Airlines also put into operation 02 new routes connecting from Hanoi capital - Cam Ranh and Hanoi - Da Nang with an expected frequency of 01 round trip / day from May 26th.
