(TITC) - On 23rd May 2023, in Ha Noi, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) had a meeting with Mr. Wén Wén Tíng, Executive Chairman of Guangxi, China - ASEAN International Golf Association, on expanding exchanges and cooperation to promote golf tourism within the framework of China-ASEAN cooperation.

Mr. Wén Wén Tíng stated, Guangxi, China - ASEAN International Golf Association is a non-profit organisation founded in 2011 and located in Nanning. It is currently the only regional international golf association legally registered in China for the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone only. The association is currently making efforts to promote golf tourism exchanges between China and ASEAN member states, on that basis, to implement comprehensive cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and services.
Executive Chairman of Guangxi, China - ASEAN International Golf Association hopes to seize an opportunity to cooperate with partners from Vietnam to organise The Vietnam - China Golf Exchange Tournament, which will be held alternately in each country and will be held for the first time on the occasion of the upcoming ASEAN - China Fair in Guangxi from 16th to 19th September 2023. He proposes a cooperation agreement made with a Vietnamese partner and that VNAT would introduce a partner to coordinate in organising the tournament as well as an enterprise capable of organising the event in Vietnam.

The Guangxi, China - ASEAN International Golf Association desires to have in-depth discussion on the category "International Amateur Golf Tournament in China - ASEAN Free Trade Zone", as well as important issues of common concern such as: golf tournaments, golf tourism, cooperation between golf courses and clubs of the two countries. In order to take the most of available resources, maximise the advantages of each side, and jointly promote golf sports activities in the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone, develop strongly and sustainability among member states.
Mr. Wén Wén Tíng hopes that VNAT will act as a bridge and support the Association to connect with potential partners in Vietnam to organise annual golf exchanges and awards between Vietnam and China, promoting the exchange of visitors between the two sides.
VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu said, Vietnam and China are good comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. China is in the top of the largest tourist source markets to Vietnam.

VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu shared, Vietnam owns countless beautiful places and ideal climate, is a place to play golf all year round. Welcoming the proposal and encouraging the Golf Associations of Vietnam and China to cooperate to develop golf tourism of the two countries.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu suggests Guangxi, China - ASEAN International Golf Association and partners to jointly build regulations on organising golf tournaments to create a basis for long-term cooperation and promote media communication. VNAT will support and accompany to promote efficiency and contribute to promoting golf tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China.
