(TITC) - According to Vietnam Airlines, from 15th June 2023, direct flights from Ha Noi to Melbourne will be operated by Airbus A350 aircraft with a frequency of 2 flights/week on Thursdays and Sundays.
Thereby, flight number VN779 departs from Ha Noi at 00:05 am, lands in Melbourne at 12:30 pm; VN778 departs from Melbourne at 15:00 pm and lands in Ha Noi at 21:35 pm.
From now till 31st December 2023, Vietnam Airlines will implement incentives with round-trip prices from only USD 645 (equivalent to VND 15,237,000 including taxes and fees).
Additionally, Vietnam Airlines will change itineraries free of charge for passengers who purchased tickets before 30th April 2023 from Ha Noi to Melbourne connecting via Ho Chi Minh City to fly directly from Ha Noi to Melbourne.
All routes to Australia use modern wide-body Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The highlight of this aircraft line is outstanding comfort with airy space, higher cabin humidity and pressure, wider windows, and comfortable reclining seats.
In 2019, Australia is Vietnam's 12th largest aviation market with a total capacity of nearly 900,000 passengers, of which Vietnam Airlines transports more than 400,000 passengers. In 2022, in the context that a number of areas in the world have not yet fully recovered, the number of visitors to and from Australia has risen to the 8th position among the largest markets of Vietnam. With an impressive recovery speed, Australia is currently ranked 4th among Vietnam Airlines' most important markets.
In the first 4 months of 2023, there were more than 130,000 Australian visitor arrivals to Vietnam, becoming one of the key markets of the tourism industry. This new direct flight will contribute to attract more Australian visitors to Vietnam in the upcoming time.
