(TITC) - In the series of events of Ha Long Tourism Week from 29th April to 3rd May, in Ha Long, the Opening Ceremony of Ha Long Carnaval 2023 under the theme “Ha Long Dance - Harmony of the Five Continents” took place.

Ha Long Carnaval 2023 consists of 4 parts: opening ceremony, theatrical art show, street dance, low-range fireworks. Ha Long Carnaval 2023 made an impressive remark with theatrical art tricks, modern lighting technology.
The performances combine interaction with theatrical visual effects; from space, stage layout to performance costume props, will be renovated and full of attractiveness to audiences.
The Carnaval is a great story of history, art, legend, openness, nature, development… showing Ha Long as the convergence of the most beautiful things, to deserve the position of the leading destination in Asia. Aiming to build the image of Ha Long Bay with the 29-year journey recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage and Ha Long Carnaval is a destination of smiles and hospitality. This is also the catalyst to make Ha Long's tourism image more beautiful and impressive in the hearts of every visitor.

A new feature in this year's Ha Long Carnaval is an art programme with the participation of famous singers from Quang Ninh; combining street dances, which are vividly expressed through traditional and modern performances of representatives of ethnic groups in the province, cultural features of some regions of Vietnam and countries around the world.
In addition to the onshore performances, the Ha Long Carnaval Festival 2023 welcomes the participation of cruise ships on Ha Long Bay decorated with colourful lights, along with a 15-minute low-range fireworks display on the shores of the heritage bay has created a fanciful, dreamy Ha Long.

Carnaval Ha Long is one of the events in the series of activities of the jubilant and vibrant summer tourist season to welcome visitors on the national holiday (Reunification Day 30th April and International Labour Day 1st May) and celebrate the 60th founding anniversary of Quang Ninh Province, 30th anniversary of Hong Gai Town becoming Ha Long City.
Besides, there are many culture and tourism activities taking place in Ha Long City such as: Ha Long City art photo exhibition, dance groups festival, Tran Quoc Nghien Temple festival, kite flying festival, photo contest "Ha Long - Heritage City", art and street music, folk dance performance…
